This year we’ve introduced a session during the conference on Thursday called “lightening talks” as a way of allowing more conference attendees to share their experiences.

Anyone attending the conference can put their name down to do a 5 minute talk on an interesting experience, a new project, or anything relevant to government and the public sector in relation to the web.

Government 2.0 Taskforce Workshop

July 26, 2009 on 11:56 am | In Conference 09 | No Comments

We’re happy to announce that we’ve just added the Government 2.0 Taskforce Workshop to our conference sessions. The workshop will be facilitated by Lisa Harvey, one of the Taskfoce members.

The Government 2.0 Taskforce is being formed against a backdrop of increased interest by governments worldwide in the potential uses of public sector information and online engagement.

The Local Government sector has a lot to say as both a supplier and user of public sector information. The Taskforce would like to hear what you have to say about your own experiences of engagement with other levels of government, and also on how your constituency engages with, or expects to engage with you on both access to public sector information and digital engagement.

See the full session description for details.
