Lightening Talks
July 27, 2009 on 2:44 pm | In Conference 09 | 1 CommentThis year we’ve introduced a session during the conference on Thursday called “lightening talks” as a way of allowing more conference attendees to share their experiences.
Anyone attending the conference can put their name down to do a 5 minute talk on an interesting experience, a new project, or anything relevant to government and the public sector in relation to the web.
Prize
The winner will be chosen by whoever gets the biggest applause. And thanks to Fat Publisher will be giving away a brand new iPhone for first prize!
You don’t need to prepare slides (although you are welcome to) but we do recommend you rehearse your talk as 5 minutes goes quickly!
There are only a few spots so if you’re interested then sign up quick!
To enter please fill out this short form.
Please note that only conference attendees may enter.
UPDATE
The winner of the 2009 Lightening Talks is Rachel Macdonald from Holroyd Council, with her presentation “Web Review Wednesday”
